Divalicious Baby Shower Gift Ideas...

As the beautiful pastel colors surround you, take a moment to smell Spring. The dainty odor of cucumber sandwiches. The delicious indulgence of buttercream frosting. The hearty smell of a Snickers Bar melted on a diaper.

That's right-- it's baby shower season. I absolutely love baby showers! The sweet little finger foods are so much better than anything you have at home. The games are hilarious, and there's a good chance you'll nab a blackmail photo of a girlfriend covered in toilet paper. And watching the appreciative new mom open all the adorable gifts gives you a warm fuzzy that lasts all season.

Almost makes me want to have another baby!

Well, that's probably going overboard. My little diva is 16 now.
On the other hand, my best friend is expecting her fourth child-- YIKES!!

Just kidding, Lisa.

Anyway, I started thinking about baby shower gifts, and about all the showers i've attended. Sure, the new mom registers for everything she needs, but what about the fun stuff? That's why I always buy one helpful thing off the boring registry (nursing pads, anyone?) and one super cool, divalicious gift that is sure to be one-of-a-kind.

Who wouldn't love to see the new mom's face light up when opening an out-of-this-world, diva-style baby shower gift after the inevitable long line of oh-so-blah burp cloths? When she's surrounded with dirty diapers and wet wipes and spit-up, she'll be desperate for something beautiful, colorful, and special. And she'll think of you and smile.

So i've made a grand personal sacrifice and sorted through oodles of cute baby accoutrements to bring you this divalicious showcase of gorgeous and unique baby shower gifts. Mix 'em, match 'em, tuck 'em in next to the Butt Paste.

After all-- if you spoil her with gifts, she may not try to bribe you into babysitting.
